ミロアートラボは、東京港区麻布にあるアートラボ（美術共育実験室）です。
事前に用意された「課題」や「カリキュラム」はなく"小さいひと達"（子ども）自身が「してみたい！」と心に浮かんだ感性を大切に、自分の頭と心と手を動かして自分で決めてつくります。キャンバスにペイントをしたり、紙や布を切ったり、粘土で形を作ったり... と、表現の素材も自由に自分たちで選びます。
また、仲間を集っての大きなプロジェクトを開催したり、アートフェアやイベントがつくられることもあります。その活動のすべてを、小さいそうぞうびとが主体となって行っています。
スタッフは先生ではなく、クルー = 創造航海士として小さいひとの創造航海に伴走する仲間として、彼らが自分のアイデアを実現する手助けとなる技術や知識を提供し、制作過程でのサポートを行います。
小さいそうぞうびと達は自分自身のアイデアを形にしていく過程を通じ、自己表現力や自己肯定感を高めていくことができます。クルーや仲間の提案によりさまざまなアートの実験を他視点から行うことで、広い視野の創造的思考を育みます。この思考を私たちは【藝術思考】と定義しています。
答えよりも問いを。自らの頭で考え心で感じ手を動かしてつくり出すことを通じての学びから、全人的発達を目指すリベラルアーツ(藝術)するアートラボです。
